For more than fifty years one family has been making shoes for the most important steps of all: the first ones. Every Missouri pair is born from the same idea — that a child’s shoe deserves the same care, the same materials and the same respect as the finest Italian footwear.

About us
A family, a workshop, a passion for shoes
Missouri was founded in 1971 in Monte Urano, in the Marche region of Italy, where generations of artisans have turned leather into shoes. What began as a small family workshop has grown into an international children’s brand — without ever leaving home.
Today the Ferracuti family still covers every key role: business management, model design, production, quality control and distribution. It is this closeness, collection after collection, that allows us to make something special for kids all over the world.

The Missouri way
From sketch to first steps

Design
Every model starts as a sketch and a paper pattern, drawn in-house by the family and refined season after season.

Materials
Soft calf leathers, suede, patent, pony hair and precious accessories, selected for beauty and for growing feet.

Craftsmanship
Cutting, stitching and finishing are carried out by expert hands in the Marche shoemaking district.

Quality control
Each pair is checked one by one before it leaves Monte Urano, with the care of a family signing its own work.
